    Default American Avocet foraging in Salt Lake

    I made this image in Antelope Island State Park UT last month.

    I was flat on the ground with Ground pod.

    Camera Settings:-
    ===============
    Nikon D850 600 f/4 + 1.4 x TCIII
    1/4000 sec; f/5.6; ISO 1000
    Manual; Matrix metering
    Ground Pod


    Post Processing:-
    ===============
    Raw Processing using C1P
    Cropped to straighten the image
    Tonal Adjustments in Viveza
    Neat Image NR
    Sharpening for Presentation
    Dodge selectively
    No Cloning

    Wonderfull capture, Krishna. Like the foraging for food, wet lower legs, and excellent low POV. Nice how the foreground soft brown band, and the distant possible brown shoreline frame the Avocet.

    Excellent low angle, and the feeding posture is rather dynamic. Fun to get down and dirty for shorebirds eh! I'm just missing a catchlight in the eye.
