Another beauty of a RSH shot. Have you got these guys trained ?? Awesome to have catchlights in both eyes, and the calling pose is sweet. Details look great, especially on the wingtips. The whites around the beak look just a bit hot, but its a small area so hard to say definitively on the jpg. Pano crop works perfectly for this pose. TFS

Yes sir, that is just beautiful . And the 500 pf has given you all the detail you could ask for. Is this evening or early morning. Have you found the 1.4 on the pf reduces the detail much with the 850. I actually like the white around the eyes and on my monitor it doesn't appear too hot. But then I don't know the bird but the great light comes through.

Thank you for the comment Ian. This was taken early morning. As expected the 1.4 reduces the detail a little. I compared the D850 +1.4 with the D500 without, the D500 file looks more crispy, a little better.
