A had a good session with this individual who was at first a bit wary, but then became comfortable with my being there to the point of being downright friendly and unperturbed by my presence. The habitat it was found in was mostly unappealing, but it did venture onto some clean spaces like here.

Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/800s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, FF, cleaned up the eye.

    Daniel:

Lovely soft light, colors, dof. Great POV.

Comp is nice as well, with room for him to look into.

    Cheers

Awesome pose, soft light, and colors. Great low angle. Love the fluffed up shoulder. My only nit is very minor but I wish we could see more of the birds feet. Great perch. TFS

Hi Dan, nice work, beautiful little bird. Composition, light, colors and detail all look good. Thank you for sharing.
