    This is a male Australasian Figbird.
    As the name implies they are fruit eaters, commonly on that of the Ficus genus.
    In this case they were after Native Olive (Notelaea genus).
    Shockers for getting a good head turn, always looking about.
    I did break off some of the sticks above their small fruiting shrub to get a clean perch.
    As it was i still needed to remove some twigs in PP.

    Interesting looking bird. Looks a little dark overall to me. Needs more room to the left. I would be inclined to crop to 8x10 ratio.

    Good points Jack, here they are in practice. I do get a bit fixated on 3x2 crops.

    Repost looks better to me Colin. Just wondering if a larger aperture would have blurred the BG a little more? I also know how difficult it is to get these at eye level. Plenty of them here in Brissy. TFS
