I like it very much indeed Lance. Apart from the head angle the only other thing is that I'd prefer it if the lower branch wasn't cutting across the tail. Other than that, love tghe lighting, the bird and the detail.

Fully agree with Sean on this one The sun angle is not all that bad probably due to the soft light Some fill light for the tail would be fine since it has very little detail !!!

since the tail is dark anyways, the branch doesnt bother me too much. and i like the far away stare of the bird!! nice light.

Lance, I really like this even though the head angle isn't exactly what one would hope for. The BG is beautiful and you did a great job with composition. The bird's eye and head are nicely sharp...lots of good things about this image! Keep it up!
