Montagu"s Harrier Male
Had a close encounter with this friendly Male Montagu's Harrier during last Christmas vacation.
They are winter visitors to India.
It took almost 1 hour and crawling for more than 100 meters to get close to this guy who was roosting on the ground.
Tanks in advance for your valuable feedback

Awesome portrait Kamal! That plumage is gorgeous! I'd like to see this image in a larger size to truly appreciate the details, but as presented, it looks great. The bird is too large in the frame IMO. The image definitely needs more space on the RHS, and some more all around would help. Great field-craft and shot. Very well done!

Gosh to get close to one of these, remarkable, in the UK we see them very rarely and miles away from our lenses. A bit more space, hope you can share some more shots.

Great look at this harrier. The low angle is right on as the pose. Those eyes are great.
