Very nice but for the slight you-know-what ... The light grasses look loverly.

    When?

Where on the refuge? I am en route as I type :)

    with love, artie

Thank you Artie. This was taken on November 13th, standing several hundred yards northeast of the Flight Deck.

    Have a good trip.

Very cool Bill. Great colors, poses, and setting. Just wish that there was a tiny bit of separation between the birds. Looks like a great trip, cant wait to see more. TFS

Beautiful sunrise light nicely exposed. Birds look good at a glance, then the overlap....

Well captured, Bill. Couldn't ask for a better light quality and beautiful rising mist.

Thank you all. I agree the bit of overlap is unfortunate.
