Default Northern Harrier dining on Snow Goose

We came upon this scene last week at the Bosque del Apache, and the Harrier was already dining on the unfortunate Snow Goose. I'm assuming the Harrier found the carcass of the Snow Goose. C&C welcome.

    Geoffrey:

Dramatic image, sad story. I find the harrier is a little soft in the face and near bits, better further away. Was there much of a crop needed? I might have tried a few shots with the shutter speed up a bit as well.

    Well exposed, interesting water background.

    Cheers

Must have been exciting to come across this. Pretty cool behavior.
