    Hope everyone has been well!!

This is from about 5 years ago when we had this beautiful cooperative adult male hanging around, we dubbed him "Ricky the Red-tail".
About a year before "Freddy the Ferruginous Hawk"

Where you been, old man?!?!? Frame is up to your usual high standards. Love the eye contact and smooth background.Got lucky with minimal shadows in the upstroke too! I imagine raptors are in full swing down your way right now. I hope to be down there sometime in the New Year, cheers!

Nice image. I like the subject orientation and subtle tones in the background.

Killer pose, detail, and BG. What is the BG, actually? I love the dangling feet. Perfect catchlight. Vertical worked well here. TFS

    Thanks Krishna

    Thanks Alex,
The BG is a distant hillside that gives us some beautiful smooth BGs for many frames. The hills are hundreds of yards behind the subject so the distant colors melt together perfectly.

    Thanks again

As good as ever David, but this stands out a little more for me as its a more unusual pose to what is normally posted and seen. Great details, killer look at the eye - hope you have a good raptor season
