Nice portratit of this gackle. Like the framing. The high key treatment works very well. Nice and sharp.

Nice work exposing those subtle color changes. Good detail and crop, and a good subject for high key treatment.

I love the high-key studio feel to this shot. These are under-appreciated birds, and this close view you reveals their multi-colored sheen nicely. High ISO prevented maximum crispness, but the level of detail is still very nice.

High Key background and colors look nice.

I would have lowered a stop of shutter speed and reduced ISO accordingly.

High key works well here, and a great pose from the bird. Colors are great. Detail is good, but has been slightly hit by the NR. I would be tempted to darken the eye a bit as it looks just a bit too lifted. TFS
