    I made this image in Gilbert Ranch, AZ last weekend

    Camera Settings:-
    ===============
    Nikon D850 600 f/4 + 1.4 x TCIII
    1/4000 sec; f/5.6; ISO 1600
    Manual; Matrix metering




    Post Processing:-
    ===============
    Raw Processing using C1P
    Cropped to Level the image.
    Tonal Adjustments in Viveza
    Neat Image NR
    Sharpening for Presentation
    No Cloning

    Hi Krishna, interesting image. I love the background but not so much the duck. I think it is too dark for a normal image and not dark enough for a silhouette. Thank you for sharing.

    Really neat background. If there is no more detail in the blacks I would be inclined to at least brighten the eye.

    Like a piece of art this photo, definitely would like more head detail.

    Nice but the poor duck is mega-under-exposed. It can easily be dealt with duirng the RAW conversion. Much better than working on the JPEG as I did.

    Thanks Artie,

    For me the Image is about the background colors and than the exposure on the duck and hence I choose to keep it as it is.

    Thanks for sharing alternate approach. I will check it out in RAW conversion and make a different version of the same.

    Krishna, What you are missing here is that the bird was in the shade while the BKGR was in sun. You are free to present your images as you like and we are equally free to say that the image is not pleasing as presented in Pane 1 :)

    Wonderful background colors. I agree the image is all about the background, but it wouldn't be diminished by bringing a bit more detail to the blacks, as Artie is suggesting.
