Here's a Fieldfare taken last weekend. The end of autumn is slowly moving into winter in the central parts of Sweden and yesterday we had our first snowfall for the season. Around this time thrushes and waxwings start to gather in large flocks and move south. I was lucky enough to intersect as gigantic flock of Fieldfares and Redwings as they moved through a area of berry trees. many birds dropped to the ground and started feeding for worms and fallen berries. Really nice depiction of this thrush! The fall colors are the perfect touch. Low angle and curious head tilt are really nice. Perfect composition as well.
Looking real good...Love the pose you captured and the Autumn colours throughout the image. These guys have now arrived in Scotland along with Redwing and Waxwing. Just need some nice weather now..
