    Default Bronzed Cowbird

I photographed this Bronzed Cowbird down in Texas. They're a rarity in Albuquerque, but pretty common in South Texas. I like the way these birds look, especially the eye.

That eye is a real attention grabber, Doug. Nice sharpness and an interesting pose. The pano crop works well here.

    Hi Doug,

Lovely details in the blacks. Too tight for my taste but I like the contrast in colors.

Example of what blacks should look like. Excellent exposure.

Great exposure control, details and setting. I like the pano crop idea, it's just a bit tight in the frame for my taste.

Great pose, great details on the blacks, excellent BG, and perfect eye contact, we have a very similar bird in Argentina but with brown eyes called "Tordo Renegrido". I really like this shot! Congrats!
