Simple and beautiful!
A really stunning bird shown well here, I really like the raised foot and the low shooting angle. I think you exposed the bird well and got some nice details even if you might lift the shadows in the blacks a bit more. The whole image feels a bit contrasty and might benefit from a reduction in that.
The blue background is nice but I would remove some of the top and from the right to get rid of the lump in focus on the right hand side. Otherwise very nice frame!
Striking bird in beautiful light, bravo! I like the raised foot to compensate for the missing other! I agree there is a lot of open space above the bird, so it might be worth recropping to lose some of that negative space. Probably don't want too much more of the stuff at the bottom though.....
Love the bird and the light. Reds are hot and image too contrasty and overly saturated. All addreessed in my repost. Also did some mud clean-up.
