    My previous post was a juvenile Purple Gallinule this post is an adult that I gleaned from my files for comparison. Image captured at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED, image captured at 290mm
    1/500 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV +1/3 ISO 500 Auto WB, camera supported by a monopod
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2019 and Neat Image for noise reduction, out of focus leaves removed from background
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    Beauty frame with great colours. I really like the strong diagonal. Great view of the huge claws.

    Nice Joe ,I like the way the feet stick out. Stunning all the way. My personnel little pick would have been nice for more room at the top.TFS

    So envious of the frame as I've not had the chance to shoot this amazing bird yet! Love the engaging look, cleanliness, and detailed view of those amazing feet! Only suggestion would be to loosen the crop a
    bit as his head is getting close to the edge of the frame. As good a frame as I've seen from you. It's so money.

    Beautiful Image. I love the diagonal Lines..
