    You did well with the whites. A fully raised or lowered wing position would have been better IMO, but I do like the curled primaries. Tight in the frame, especially the tail. I do see repeating patterns in the water, suggesting either removed elements or extended canvas. Gulls are fun practice subjects, always up to something interesting

    Nice view of this gull. Yes to some more room. Detail on the whites looks good to me.
