    This image captured the other day as part of an on going series. There must be great dining in this one particular area of a local grassland. C&C welcome.

    D4S, 500PF + 1.4 III TC, 1/1250s, f 8.0, handheld, ISO 1000.

    Very nice looking bird and you captured a lovely lookback pose. Nice perch. I don't know of its noise or posterisation in the BG but it catches the eye.

    Like the pose and the thorny perch. The background does have some noise. Maybe crop in a little more on the right.

    The bird is nicely exposed and stands out well from the background, which I agree is noisy. I think a vertical crop could suit this shot.

    Thanks William and John. Background seemed okay before orig. post. I've addressed the noise and cropped in on the right a bit.
