Posting an image for feedback and as always I appreciate input of any kind, including RP's. Frame was taken last Sunday at about 5 pm on my way home from a private reserve, two male cheetahs hunting in 40"C... I have quite a few images and I think some are less 'boring' than this. But you will only see this character... unfortunately his mate had a collar
Liked the BG here although I felt HA was not perfect, seems the subject's head is ever so slightly turned away. Eye still visible so I took the trouble to process. Had to deal with a few HL too... At first the two cheetahs were in the shade so I made sure to overexpose a bit, forgot to check histogram when they moved into the sun.
Please note, this was before a storm therefore the colour of the sky.
Processed rather simply in LR and then PSCC, only a few tweaks. If you think the image would benefit from any adjustments please let me know

Hi Gabriela, the low POV works and being side on illustrates the shape & form of the body. Open mouth is a nice touch and the overall colour palette is cool. The framing is spot on and the hunch of the shoulder, head slightly down, gaze fixed, just a lovely image.
Again, like mine, but you were closer, perhaps a tad more DoF?
Steve, you are absolutely right about DoF. I did remember and was just about to shoot a few frames at F8 when the subject saw a warthog and suddenly dashed into the bushes. Ooooofffffff...just too late
