    Default Spoonbill @ Merritt Island NWR

    This was last December.
    Canon 5D Mark IV
    100-400
    1.4 TC
    F8 @ 1/4000 ISO 800
    Hand held
    Processed in LR and PS. Neat Image for noise reduction.
    Cropped +/- 25%

    The detail and colours on the bird are real good... but I think it is too big in the frame. Well done on capturing this pose. I think it needs a wee bit CCW rotation, looking at the reflection. Lovely pinks.

    That pink and blue go great together. Yes to being tight on the right. The bird is nice and sharp though.

    Thanks Will & John. Let me go back and look at the RAW and see if I can give it a bit more room. And yes, I agree, it needs a bit of CCW rotation. Thanks guys.

    Good sharpness and colors. You showed the details well, but I agree its framed too tightly.
