    A nice study, the comtemporary does a good job. ISO 10,000 you would never know.

    Hello John,
    ISO 10.000, WOW! Looking at your images I see clearly you are not put off by lighting conditions or bad weather, well done

    Well exposed and well framed, subject looks good with nice detail where it matters most, colours look natural. Love those bits of grass on the antlers.

    I used to shoot hand held too...but lately the 500 lens feels a wee heavy and I cannot hold it for long periods of time...old age... or maybe lack of practice?

    Hi John, overall, the colour/WB is looking better, but a tad more NR I feel on the BKG. I know you are pushed on ISO, but again a little more DoF for the muzzle, it's not a sharpening element I feel, but some more selective sharpening really helps.
