    Last day for this month's theme, so I thought I'd post this one I found while weeding out some old files. From 2012 on Bowman's Beach, Sanibel, taken just before the sun went down. Full Frame. Cloned out one small bit of debris.

    D700, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 1000, 1/800s @ f/6.3 manual.

    Great light on this one. Nice detail on the bird with good framing.

    Really nice light and POV. The colours on the BG look good. Nice pose and the sand on the bill adds interest

    excellent low angle and light the small sand bits on the bill add more interest

    Killer light and details on the bird! I love the BG transitioning from sand to foliage as well. Adds nice context and depth. My kinda shorebird image!

    Loving this with the gorgeous light Bill, great low angle, and the sand on the bill adds a lot.

    Seeing the IQ makes you wonder why we keep spending more on upgrades!
