A frame filler, I liked the blues and the yellows. Lesser kestrel.

Great dynamic pose and the background is awesome. The bird is just way too large in the frame IMO - if you don't have any more room in the RAW capture, I would suggest adding some canvas all round. I'd probably lift the shadows a touch too. Nice work Tim!

I like the tones and colours as presented, but I agree the subject is too tight in the frame, 1200px high/tall would show the kestrel off very nicely.

I like everything about it but agree that it needs to come down a bit in size the frame. Colours beautiful and gentle.Great bird..

Tim, nice and sharp, nice wing position and clean eye contact, maybe a bit more room as others have suggested, to bad the light wasn't coming in at a better angle.
    Very nice.

Nice view of this kestrel. Like the fanned out tail and the far wing. Wish the wings were fully up or down. The background is great.

Very nice look at this species. Detail in the focal plane looks good, but the very thin plane of focus suggest you were very close to the subject given you were at 7.1. The focus on the eye is cool, but I wish more of the wingspan fell in focus.
Way too tight in frame as previously mentioned.
