IQ excellent as always. Not a big fan of the comp and the tail feathers/perch
    overlap.

Simple and effective, helped by a stunning subject!

How are you finding the D500 compared to other bodies? I've used mine underwater and was very impressed but no long lenses yet for topside

Super image. Like the background. The only nit to pick for me is the branch running through the tail feathers. When you say handheld, are walking around without even a monopod, or are you taking this out of
    the window of a vehicle?

hi Jack I never use a monopod or a tripod I just walk with my lens around hand held. Without being mobile it is pretty much impossible to photograph WTKs

Another nice one Arash. Love the background. Nice contrast with the lighter bird. Beautiful detail the eye really pops makes the image. Perch doesn't bother me such a small detail in overall image. TFS

Beautiful shot Arash! Love the detail and the background colors. Perch is interesting as well. Agree with Dan on the intersecting perch and tail feathers, but it's a very small nit in an otherwise spectacular image!

Beautiful frame Arash. Only thing I'd change is crop as I fallen in love with 4x5 for verticals/portraits. You have tons of space above and below and I think the boxier crop would look good here.
