    Yesterday at a local grassland, as the current storm was arriving and a few drops of rain falling, I was able to capture a few images of SAVS. This is full frame and I would have preferred a bit more room for a vertical crop. C&C welcome.

    D500, 500PF + 1.4 III TC, 1/640s, f 8.0, Handheld, ISO 2500.

    Love the pose, straight on look, details and colors. The BG was challenging but some of the closer branches frame the subject well if not for the one touching the tail and I agree it would be great as a vertical. TFS

    Like the environment here. The pose is nice just wish the head was dead center. Yes a vertical would have been nice.

    Nice Post. Framing is ok, too central for me.

    Background is a bit too busy for my liking.

    I love the autumn colors. Horizontal format works fine with me, since it shows the nice environment.

    Yep, horizontal works well for me too, and I actually wish for more room for more of that background (which I love way more than I thought I would have!)
