Amazing capture, Tim. Wonderful soft warm light, and fine detail.

    The image was taken with a Nikon D850 and 500mm F/4, 1/1600 at F,/8 Iso 4500.

Pretty neat frame. Like the interaction. The image quality looks very good. Maybe just a little tight on the left.

Expression on the lower bird is awesome. Head Angles are nice.

A bit to close to the left hand side. It this was cropped image then you can try to adjust the same.

Wow we say it time and again but it really does make a difference when the birds are doing something - great interaction. I find the hard edges on the bill compelling viewing, they contrast with the beautiful soft plumage.

Fantastic interaction!! Very good IQ too. I do wish for more room all around, but I imagine the action took you a bit by surprise as far as comp goes. Is the perch some kind of roof structure?

The second is even more powerful(if that's possible) because of that spread wing.

Superb Tim, I prefer the first due to the body positions, but yes, they are a little tight in the frame. Just a little more above, below and to the left would be about right for me just to give a little breathing room but keeping the action focussed on the faces
