Out early this morning 6am, but the light gets quite harsh very quickly here in sunny Brisbane. Anyhow...this Finch posed with an inquisitive look.
I removed quite a few distracting wires and decided on a 16x9 crop. Not the best perch I know.

Hi Paul, colorful little bird, techs look good. I don't have a problem with the perch it looks like the barbed wire we have here at the edges of the pastures. I would have changed the composition by rotating the image so the bird is level, also it feels tight in the frame. I would have moved the bird further left allowing more room on the right. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Joseph. I appreciate the feedback. Here's another edit where I leveled the bird and moved it to the left. Thoughts?

A typical perch for Red Heads. Looks like it has recently had a bath. Re-post does look better, nice shot.

Hi Colin. Yes... it was hopping between the water trough and the fence...along with other honeyeaters. Cheers.

Wow Paul, you got all the color and details in this stunner. I like the room in front in the repost, the BG is killer and you handled the less than optimal light real well. TFS

What a neat looking finch. The pose is interesting. I don't mind the perch. The background is killer.
