    Nice action shot. It looks like noise reduction was applied to the background but not the bird. I would apply a little more noise reduction to the bird as it looks quite noisy to me.

    Super shot Dan. No such bird here, so nice to see them. I'm ok with the noise...always an issue (for me most of the time) with dark plumage. I might tone down the red a bit though. TFS

    It's fun when these guys are so busy working an area of a tree that they are pretty much ignoring your presence! I like the behaviour and good look at the talon. Yes, the blacks look noisy, and I would have given more room at right

    Really like the view of those feet. Nice behavior here as well. More room would be nice.
