This is a good POV and a good one for the theme. The BG looks good I find the OOF foliage in the FG that intersects with the bird very unfortunate.
The closed eye looks kind of odd. I realize this is natural but I keep looking at it, wondering if the eye is open or closed.
I would remove the whitish spot just above the head.
