    Found in my backyard.
    Canon 7DII + 180/3.5 + Tripod
    f/11, 1/8, ISO 800
    DPP4, PSCC, Nik Dtail extractor and tonal contrast
    Appreciate comments and suggestions

    We have similar insects over here - shield bugs or stink bugs, if you upset them they emit a rather smelly fluid.
    I like the composition and the radially arching structures in the leaf, the dorsal surface is in focus and the right antenna is, the legs and left antenna on partially. I am guessing he kept still for a few seconds if you used a tripod, this would have been ideal for an image stack.

    Nice view of this bug. Like the vertical lines on the leaf. Nice and sharp.
