    I made this image in Bosque Del Apache NM 2016

    Camera Settings:-
    ===============
    Nikon D500 500 f/4 + 1.4 x TCIII
    1/1600 sec; f/5.6; ISO 1250
    Manual; Matrix metering




    Post Processing:-
    ===============
    Raw Processing using C1P
    Cropped to Center the bird
    Nik 25-25 Filter on Bird at reduced opacity
    Increase sat on bill and legs
    Added few points to blacks
    Neat Image NR
    Sharpening for Presentation
    Dodge selectively
    Added some canvas to the right of bird

    While a little steep, I love the view of those translucent wing and tail feathers. Composition overall works for me. TFS

    High key works well here. Like the framing. Not so sure on the wing position.

    Lovely detail on the illuminated secondaries and tail, but the overhead angle is tough for me. Lack of eye contact hurts as well.
