    More green surroundings. This place was rocking for a few weeks this past late summer/early fall!! Another rather clean part of the water, and lots fun crawling in the mud and shallow water .

    Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/800s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, FF, minor water surface cleanup, eye work, NR to the BG and FG.

    Lovely shot in perfect light and background. The lifted leg adds some life to the bird.

    This is looking real good Dan. The BG colours are amazing. Lovely pose on the bird with nice detail. Love everything about this one. Just wondering if it may need a wee bit of CCW rotation.

    This is another strong shorebird frame, really well done! Love that you got the whole reflection and put him high enough in the frame to see it.

    Yes Paul - laundry is always interesting at this time of year. A good hosing-off outside before gives the appliances a sigh of relief
