This is a Northern Water Snake taken in early am when the water looks falsely green!!! Taken with D300 and my 300mm 2.8. lens. 1/160 at f4.0, -1/3 EV. 0 flash, 420mm. Gitzo tripod.
Wow! love the green water! and the snakes body barely showing under it. I would reduce the noise a bit and clone out a couple of small light spots in the water, but thats it from me. Very nice!
Totally cool! I love the green water and as Dan pointed out the snakes body is barely visible under it. Nice touch.
I agree with the noise reduction. Only on the water.
Hi Shellie,
The submerged part of the snake is what makes this very nice indeed on top o the lovely water. Maybe a bit of work on the eye to sharpen a bit more but working on the original shouldn't be an issue. Very well seen and captured!
Jules, I have done some sharpening already???? Maybe I am doing something wrong?? If anyone wants to take a stab at it and post a redo that would be awesome to see, along with how to!! :-)
