    Default Striped honeyeater

    I seem to be having a good run lately getting "lifers". This Striped Honeyeater was a little higher in the tree than I'd like...spent quite a while hoping it would land closer to eye height, but it was not to be. I'd also prefer not to have the breast shadows.
    7Dii, 100-400@400mm, 1/2500th sec, f5.6, iso400, HH.

    Great self critique but you have a wonderfully detailed view of the face/eye. Congrats on the lifer and the image. TFS

    Good looking bird, OK perch. Yes, bummer about those shadows. Sounds like you will have opportunities with these guys - always fun to have an excuse to go back
