I have many harrier shots under my belt but this is one of my favorites. This is a typical harrier behavior: the bird flies low in a zigzag pattern when hunting then it suddenly stops in mid air diving almost vertically to grab a rodent. I had seen this behavior many times before but never captured it quite like this, this image ins't perfect, the sun was at about 30 degree angle so parts of the far wing weren't lit up but the dynamic pose makes this one for me.
