Lovely wing position and sharp on the eye with nice soft light. Was the head in the center of the frame in the original?

    with love, artie

Nice down stroke. Really like that green background. Wish for more room all around.

Sweet pose and interesting setting for this bird which is great. Things look pretty good for ISO 12,800. Did you add a bit of canvas below the bird? If so it looks like some cloning artifacts (right under the wings) that could be handled, but may just be the foliages. I think you could drop the exposure on the whole frame a bit, and I wonder if you could get some more detail out of the whites on the head, possibly through double processing those areas. Love the trailing feet here. TFS

Good solid image of this GBH.
I would tone down the greens a bit, reduce the noise on the wings and clean up that cloning artifact under the bird.
I like the tight crop as it really highlights the bird and gives a good view of the feet.
