    EOS R RF 24-105 1/1000 f5 ISO 500

    As I was imaging some grackles two waders flew to land on same nearby branch. Turned and aimed just as dispute was settled. This beauty (the winner) was pulling in it's raised feathers and this was best head angle in the short burst. A large crop due to shorter lens.

    Sharp, lovely light, colors, and bird. Sweet BKGR. And nicely framed in what is often an awkward distance. Looks good for a big crop. At 105mm?

    That's a beauty of a tri color. The light and pose are nice. Must have been really close or a big crop. Either way image quality looks very good.

    Yes Artie, @105mm and this represents less than 30% of the frame. I do love the RF glass though. Sharp and great contrast from edge to edge full frame.
