Perfect exposure, wonderful low angle, fantastic eye contact and SH/details. Congrats TFS
I agree with the positives mentioned by David. The interaction is very nice (poor murrelet). I only wish the rock on the RHS was not there, but I like this image nonetheless. Nice work Dan!
Solid frame here. The predator and prey are very well captured. Nice low angle. The diffused light brang out the detail nicely.
Very cool scene here. I love the interaction and low angle. Ditto on the rock. May be an illusion or the beach slope, but does the frame need a slight CCW turn? TFS
I was telling my wife yesterday that I don't have a single decent TUVU frame, so I am envious of this awesome frame. You could no ask for a better prey item, and the low angle makes both jump off the
canvas. Exposure and details are great. The rock could go, but it doesn't need to. An only-slight imperfection without cloning is usually better than a perfect frame with cloning, at least in my mind.
very cool shot Dan, it shows exactly what this bird was made to do...to clean up... very good techs...

Excellent image of this scavenger doing what it is there for! Nice to have the food not yet all torn up, although that would be cool too. I had a similar opportunity (but with a long-dead raccoon)....when the wind suddenly turned to blow towards me....all I can say is that I can unfortunately still taste the smell when I think about it.
