    I made this image in Nickerson Beach, NY.

    I was too close so cropped the image to make a pleasing image.

    Camera Settings:-
    ===============
    Nikon D500 600 f/4
    1/5000 sec; f/4.0; ISO 1600
    Manual; Matrix metering




    Post Processing:-
    ===============
    Raw Processing using C1P
    Nik 25-25 Filter on Bird at reduced opacity
    Tonal Adjustments in Viveza
    Neat Image NR
    Sharpening for Presentation
    Dodge and Burn selectively
    No Cloning.

    Nice and sharp. I'd prefer the wings fully up and a crop from the bottom to more of a pano.

    Very nice take on a Skimmer in flight, Krishna. The prey is very nice and adds interest. The exposure is perfect. I agree totally with Artie's suggestion of a pano crop. I think it would balance the image sweetly. Great job!

    The crop works very well here. Bet you wished that fish was facing the other way.

    The exposure and details are lovely, and the fish adds nice behavioral interest. That said, I'm not a huge fan of the missing wings or tail. The pose doesn't set up well for a headshot, so you're kinda stuck with this truncation.

    Ditto Artie, plus of course the fish had to pint away eh! Good details. A fun problem when birds get too close....
