Well this is different....Lovely detail you captured Joe. The BG shows the bird well. I like it.

Like the wink. A little tight on the sides. Background is nice. Sharpness is there.
These guys are so goofy looking, and this frame shows that personality well. However, you really needed more DOF here; the focal point falls between and in front of the eyes and the detail falls
of from there. I wish his squinty right eye was open wider.
