    Default Short-billed Dowitcher

My shorebirds have returned from the Arctic for the winter! The tides lined up for some later afternoon shooting yesterday,
and this was the best of several frame I was able to capture. Probably my favorite SBDO image I've managed!

No critique here... this is a flat out gorgeous shot of a Dowager.
BG has enough interest and the light is great.

Very nice!! I've had quite a successful shorebird season this fall, but they have not taken to the air for me...except when flying AWAY from a Merlin on multiple occasions! Nothing to fault here, beautiful in-flight of this dowitcher.

What a sweet shot. It's so hard to get these shorebirds in flight, and this is a masterful job. Love everything about it.

Nice job getting this little guy in flight. The light is nice as well. Like the composition on this one and the dark background. Pose is spot on.
