    Default Sanderling Feeding

I made this image in South Utah. Background colors are reflections of tree foliage. I was having my lens on ground pod with mongoose attached.

I waited for the bird to come in the background colors to make this image.

Super angle an interesting stance and the colour palette is a pleasure to view.
Nothing "wrong" with the exposure but a luminosity mask bringing down the brightest highlights only really does enhance the plumage detail significantly.

Very appealing image indeed, the face reflection in the wet surface is pretty neat. Sharp, but low angle, great colours. Yes, I also think the whites are a bit bright though.

Ditto the whites. But overall a very nice image of this shorebird.

Very interesting setting with a nice sharp subject! This is a very cool shot for the shorebird aficionados among us! Agree the whites could be turned down a tough. Love that pink though!
