    Default Osprey in flight

Hi all. I spent a few hours at another locale where I knew there were Ospreys high up on a nest. I managed to get quite a few in flight shots. Here's one that I like. Feedback appreciated as always...especially in regards to wing position. Cheers.

nice catch, I do like the open beak. the shooting angle was a bit steep and the near wing position didn't help. the whites of the osprey show an orange cast typical of harsh overhead light. good under-wing details. the key to osprey images is to get them when landing or taking off so that they are more eye level with the viewer where possible

I hope it's ok to post another osprey taken at the same location...hopefully the wing positions are better? Cheers.

This is so much better than the OP! Wing position much better and it feels less steep.
