A lot of OOF FG on the left side I would crop out....
Wish for a better head angle where the beak clears the body.
IQ looks fine, size of files does not matter that much for web viewing.
My images are generally only about 300kb or so.
I generally stick to 1600 wide for my web images because that is a nice size for
other uses besides posting here.

Lovely bird, good eye contact, well exposed with nice background.
I agree with most of Dan's comments. 1600 wide is plenty large for the site, and the file sizes aren't so huge.
You could consider a 10% crop from below to eliminate some of the OOF areas, and a similar balancing crop from above and left.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions Dan and Randy. 1600 wide should solve the issue then

The first thing that struck me about this image is that it is quite bright. I would decrease the exposure slightly or decrease brightness a bit.
IQ looks good to me.
Love the pacific blue in the BG.
As this is almost FF you have lots of pixels to crop this as a vertical and lose some of the vegetation on the left.
I would also eliminate the extra catchlight.
I am OK with the beak as is but it would have been even better to have the beak clear the neck.
Very nice Aditya!
