Shot in Nd slough,I have been trying to shoot more shorebirds this fall, It has been very difficult. We have lots of rain this year so water levels have been very high which has limited to a few sloughs. This particular slough has had the green, blue algae and even a red algae present, I have been cautious getting in the water with this combination of algaes . This particular slough has had plenty of birds present and only have seen a few dead birds. Which seems amazing since the water looks like green anti freeze.processed in Dpp 4 and Photoshop applied neat image. Comments and critiques appreciated.

Very nice Image. Open bill and clean water, reflection adds to the image. I would have taken some canvas at the top

Love the pose, light, colors, and details. Low POV rocks. Agree with a touch off the top. Vertical works well here. TFS

Very nice. Like the light and that reflection. Nice and sharp. The vertical framing is right on.

Beautiful frame Kevin. Nice light. The open bill is a nice bonus. Good vertical comp. The image does need some CW rotation though.

Perfect example where getting lower would have wrecked that wonderful reflection! Lovely lighting and detail, and the calling pose is a great bonus. Agree with a bit of CW rotation.
