Nice view of this little blue heron. Like the light and the pose. All that blue water is nice as well.

I would lower the exposure a bit...

Nice shot Joe! The light's nice and the HA is greatAs Dan has mentioned, a lower exposure would be better. I'd also warm the image up a touch as it looks too cool on my screen. The critical focus point was on the neck and not the eye, but if you had stopped down a bit, it wouldn't have been a problem.
Yes to too bright. This is an adult. The juvies are pretty much white.
