    Hi all,
Here is another lion cub in dense bush, typical where they hide them to avoid being detected by other predators. Got a nice view through the clearing.

With that kit/combo you should have nailed it Sanjeev no question, IQ isn't there sadly, sorry. The higher ISO on the 5D isn't as good as the 1DX MK2 IMHO.

Nice to see the cub is not covered up by any of that vegetation. Looks sharp too me. But the other cubs you have posted recently have been better in terms of image quality.

Hi Doc -- I agree with Andreas and Steve, sadly the IQ is lacking. Even though you done well to isolate the subject from that busy settings but IQ does matter.

Sweet little lion cub, thank you for sharing with us!

A pity about the lighting conditions and vegetation but I do understand so well what it's like, had a similar experience a few months ago with lion cubs among tall grass, early morning in very low light...

Love the pose and specially eyes and that open mouth with such tiny teeth - I suppose this small one must be about three months' old. A very special sighting Sanjeev, and yes the IQ isn't quite there I agree, but still...I enjoyed viewing...thank you

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
