    A Canada Warbler on his nesting grounds here in Minnesota near Floodwood from June. Thanks for any feedback.

    Canon 7DII, 800mm, 1/800, f 6.3, ISO 1600.

    Image quality really suffers here.

    How big of a crop is this one ?

    Bird is soft with not much feather details.

    It was cropped a bit, you're right - perhaps this is a little better I think as I'm going through some of the files. Same bird, just a few moments later, less of a crop.

    I would suggest less cropping on both, it only exaggerates noise. Saturation and contrast looks heavy to me, was the image(s) underexposed?

    Two great singing situations and poses. Did you use audio? The first one is mega-noisy. Please post a JPEB that represents the full frame original for each frame. I am betting that you are cropping way too much ...

    The repost is much better in terms of image quality than the original. Like the calling pose.
