Hi Sanjeev, this certainly appears better in terms of IQ and sharpness, but I still feel the shallow DoF isn't helping.

Hope you got the links to Flexline.

Nice view of this little one. Like the pose, raised foot and open mouth. I like the shallow depth of field. The focus is right where it should be on the eye.

Hi Sanjeev very cute and do specially like the raised paw and the open mouth .
Crop works well, as does the colors .
I do not think the IQ is better , IMHO and not a question of missing DOF . One should get better IQ with the given techs ( albeit being borderline SS ) and that kit . IMHO the image is not 100 % sharp or handled not very well in post , meaning lots of NR was used .
Sorry Sanjeev do not want to sound harsh with my comment , just sharing my honest thoughts .

Andreas, no NR was used at all on the subject, only on the BG.

Sanjeev ok , just for my understanding .... not even NR within DPP ? As i still think you should have some grain visible in the subject, specially if the light is low !!!! And i do not really see any grain in the subject .

Sanjeev, why not pop the Raw over to Andreas, he can then come back with more 'concrete' advice/suggestions, otherwise we are just making assumptions here and in the long term you will benefit.
