Another from Moss Landing ponds, California.
I spent about 1 1/2 hours and have a dozen different wading shorebird species.
Kind of heaven for bird photography in a funny location.

Excellent frame of this guy, including the droop bill tip! Exposure and detail are excellent across the bird, and the raised foot adds a nice touch of action! Wouldn't mind a bit more room all around the bird but particularly below. Frame might
have a slight pink tint, but I'm not the best on identifying color casts.

Great low angle and the colour of the bird really pops from the background. Personal preference would be to have the raised foot further forward if you have any frames after this one. Agree with Dorian that there is a slight cast on this one, but it may well be accurate to the light at the time

Like the low angle and the raised foot. More room all around would be nice. Know you had a prime so not much options.

Looking good Dan....Nice detail, raised leg adds. I also see some sort of pinkish cast.

I love the raised foot, and the dirty face - pretty cool. Shorebird photography has been excellent up here this year too....I'm in heaven as well :-)
