I took this early last June out of the window of my vehicle. There was an area of brush the conservation department had killed along a lake reservoir.
A pair of Cedar Waxwings were hunting for nesting materials. Full frame plus. Added some canvas on the top and bottom to try to give it a little more
breathing room. Can't remember for sure but it must have been a little overcast judging by the iso.
Top notch, Jack. It can be difficult to capture the fine feather detail on a Cedar Waxwing, and you've accomplished it beautifully. Like the perch, pose, and very nice background.
